related to Graham...
I've been reviewing the team history since Payton arrived. It's been long enough to establish some notable stats and trends. Similar to the Run Baby Run thread on rushing attempts, here's another...
Ya never know which WR might have the most catches in the spread the ball around philosophy. We've seen the rushing attempts related to the talent available at RB. How about the TEs? I've found an interesting trend-
Number catches by primary TEs (top 2 or 3)
2006- 40
2007- 75
2008- 95
2009- 87
2010- 102
Distribution can be related to available talent level- similar to RB carries. Barring injury Graham I'll be shocked if Graham doesn't get 60+ receptions.
Here's more food for thought...
Examine Antonio Gates when teamed with Brees-
Rookie year- 11 games started, 24 catches 2 TDs
Next 2 years- 81&89 catches, 13&10 TDs, both All Pro
Payton will use a talented workhorse RB when he has one (like Deuce's 51% of the carries in '06). He's never had such a talented or healthy TE like Graham before. We're gonna see a whole new level of standout TE than the 40-50 team leading catches of the past four years.

Ingram. 877 yards rughing with 14 tds
250 yards receiving for 2 touchdowns.
I expect see see at least 2 100 yard games.

Blues, you only have 5 threads on the first page. You should start 3 more.

enjoying it while I can, from the way the preseason games looked this place will be uninhabitable on Sundays and Mondays.

Either way, we are doomed. This place will be full of asshats when they win, and full of asshats if they lose.

Ingram will score 12td's (overall team rushing will be in the top 5). Moore will lead the team in receptions, Meachem in YPC, and Graham and Colston will both have 7 td's. Brees will throw 32 td's, with 12 interceptions.
Vilma will lead the team in tackles and Smith will have a team leading 10 sacks (in 14 games). Both will have pro-bowl type seasons due in large part to Rogers/Franklin up front. Cam Jordan will end up with 5 sacks and start to come on strong in December and into the playoffs. Greer will have 4 interceptions and make the pro bowl as an alternate. Jenkins will score 2 defensive td's and make the pro bowl.

13 here not much better than team predictions. Why so much pussification this year?

c'mon bitches, everyone should have a guess on Graham TDs, Ingram yds, Jenkins INTs, Colston catches, Brees totals, who's pro bowling, etc.
Not limited to numbers either...
_______________ will be the clear cut starter at ______ by the end of the season
__________________ will not kept after this year
etc

Ingram 13 TD's
Graham 8 TD's
Meachum10 TD's (finally plays up)

Arrington shows his stuff and is the biggest surprise on offence at the year of the year(we know Ingram is good)

dunno if he'll get the actual award being a lineman but I agree. We've about abused the phrase already but he's gonna be huge.

putting some additional ones here.
less than 12 hrs- your final chance, don't be afraid
PRob, Jenkins, Ellis, Meachem, Bush, Jordan... Ingram will have the biggest first year impact of any 1st Rd pick in the Payton era.
If there was a Sophomore of the Year Award Graham would win it. With the spread-it-around approach I can't quite go leading the team in receptions but don't be surprised if he does. Will become Brees favorite go to guy regardless of stats.
By midseason fans will ask "What were we worried about?" concerning the O-line. Kreutz will be another feature story of a cagey/crusty old vet that came to NOLA for a ring before retiring. Strief will outperform what Stinch did while playing injured last year. Bushrod will continue on a slow curve of improvement. Neither OT will make anyone think All Pro but will be sufficient compliments to have the O-line as a contender for Madden's Most Valuable Protectors Award again allowing less than 20 sacks.
Canfield will be off and on the practice squad a minimum of 5 times
After 4-6 weeks fans will realize that who "starts" at OLB is meaningless by the constant shuffling in packages. By the end of the season fans will want to see Wilson and Casillas as every down backers.
PRob supplants Porter as the starting corner over the course of the season.
The DT's become an embarrassment of riches. Before '12 one is traded or allowed to walk for a mega contract elsewhere.
Will Smith has at least 7 sacks but his future becomes a topic of conversation- more from the play of the younger DEs.
Inevitably Sproles stats are compared to Reggies. As a result, more fans resign themselves to trusting Loomis & Payton in whatever personnel moves they make.
Arrington will not have an all world bust out year but he will at least triple his lifetime NFL receptions.
In the second half of the season Johnny Patrick gets a lot of wows from fans as in "Who is this playmaker?"
Chase Daniel multiplies his lifetime passing attempts by a factor of at least six.

80 1143 8 actual
I wasn't bad as one of the biggest Graham pimpers, said PRob was gonna push Porter, and the O-Line would be nominated for Madden's Most Valuable Protectors award.
