How about Jean-Baptiste?

yeah we had a lot of CBs come in for visits so I have to think that it's highly likely we draft one today...unless the ones we like aren't there.

Think it was more than that. I remember seeing the list and counted at least 8 maybe?

Also, going by the past, a visit with the Saints is either very good or very bad for you. It either means they think you're borderline special or borderline off their board.

After hearing Paeyton say that the 3 guys they were targeting as trade up guys were Shazier, Mosley and Cooks that he wants to upgrage the ILB and OLB position.

I really think the only reason we were trying to trade up for Moseley is because its Moseley. Besides Clowney and Donald, hes arguably the top D player in the draft and is an instant impact player with a great attitude, high football IQ, technique, etc. Hes a complete player and will be a stud from Day 1. And extremely versatile. He can play inside or outside in a 4-3, and at either inside LB spot in the 3-4 and could play the other OLB spot across from Galette. When Nick Saban says "hes arguably the finest football player ive ever coached", you know hes the real deal.

Moseley was a top 10 overall player in the draft, but due to the undervalue at his position and over value at other spots, he dropped some. He was too good of a value to not try and trade up for.

And I think people are enamored with Shaziers potential and athletic ability. Because he is loaded with both. That said, Im glad we didnt trade up for him.

We were trying to trade up for Shazier also(and I know you acknowledged that), so we obviously were targeting LB. He didn't say we would trade up for Donald or a CB or anything else.

That tells me LB is the biggest position target but Cooks may have been their top player. We'll never know because Shazier and Mosley went first.

Sorry I was distracted while trying to post.

I would have loved to get him at 27. I think I would have been upset if we traded up for him though, even though the Saints loved him enough to do it.

It's cool man

Yeah Lester I'm with you... The only LBs I'm interested in here are Van Noy and Attaochu. Pass rush guys.

Agreed. I wouldn't mind those pass rush guys(some of them), but I'm thinking C or CB.

I'm with BoneyThug. I don't think they are necessarily targeting a pass rusher as much as a SAM type LB. They want someone with some speed who can do all, including cover. Based on the knowledge that they were going to trade up for either Shazier or Mosley if there, that tells me they are valuing the do it all backer.
