Bushrod is veteran depth that can play multiple positions. It's not like we have 4 or 5 other backups on the oline that look better.
The hope is we don't need him at all because everyone stays healthy. Besides Leonard, he's the only decent experienced OT we have (but will only play OT in an emergency if 2 of Peat/Armstead/Ram go down). All the other decent backups play inside.

Wow no way we were going to score on that pass and Josh hill is garbage juice

i'd rather keep clapp and leonard over bushrod than risk losing one of them

We'll keep two backups that can play tackle, and that's very likely Bushrod and Leonard.
Then we'll likely carry two backups for the inside, and that will be between Clapp, Tom, and LeRibeus.
If we're feeling extra frisky we'll carry 10 guys, but I feel 9 is the number this year.

i'm trying with zach but he just mixed up 3rd and 4th down

Because people seem to expect 53 starting caliber players on the roster, which just isn't feasible or logical.
You want good depth, but for some spots you have to settle for decent. OTs are very hard to find, so having a decent one is better than having Bryce Harris.

Can’t get a sack every play, which was evident on that third down. Davenport still affected the pocket with a bull rush even though he wasn’t going to get the sack
