Is it true the Falcons traded up for Trufant? Why? I thought he would have fallen to them w/o trading up

I'm sure it's been addressed in the thread already but I'm just popping in. What the frick is going on with Sharrif Floyd? Plays a premium position and I saw him as high as 3 overall in some mocks.

Falcons take Trufant.
Kinda sucks. Really hate he went to the Falcons. Witherspoon, Moore and Trufant will be good long time players for them.

I fee like Gruden would want to coach LSU in a heartbeat. He talks up LSU a lot and loves the saints.

Internet acting stupid so I know this is late. Been saying all week if we couldn't get a top 3 LT that we'd go S, CB, or WR. The value for S was clearly the highest and I applaud the Saints for the pick.
For all those clamoring for Jones or another OLB or NT I've been saying for a couple of weeks why you and the so called experts were misguided.
We did NOT need another speed edge rusher once we signed Butler. He gave us 3 young, fast guys like that. What we lack at OLB is experience and someone who can cover, not a speed rusher.
We also do NOT need a space eating NT as Ryan does not us space eaters. We are set with Bunkley and Hicks.
Our clear needs this year and next are LT, CB, WR, and S. I wouldn't be shocked if we didn't take any LBs in the draft. It's simply not a high priority. We'd only do it if the value is too high to pass up.
This also leads me to wonder if Vacarro will play more free or strong. He is built and plays more like a strong but can cover. If he plays strong Harper could get cut come June 1st or maybe he could play a hybrid role and be another OLB.
