Can anyone who knows what they are talking about please give insight on how our OL is playing?

Average. To be completely honest, without Banks anchoring the unit at LT, average is probably the best we could hope for. It could be much worse. Thankfully Richards seems to be at least not embarrassing himself out there.

Banks was playing well before the injury. Richardson has been average at best. Not bad, just inconsistent.
Edwards has been good.
McCoy has been pretty good.
Ruiz is a disaster as usual.
Fuaga has been disappointing. Not a disaster, but not good.

Overall, we keep running to the right for some reason which hasn’t worked. With Banks out, the left side has been shaky on passing downs late in the game. I’d give the line as a whole a D+/C-.

I’d like Wright to get some play time as an extra OL on run downs. His pass pro is what needs development, but he was a run beast in preseason. Can’t see how he’d be any worse than Ruiz.

Address guard with money this offseason or maybe by trade this season.

Unfortunately we might need to move Fuaga inside. But we can’t cut Ruiz next year and need a RT. Not sure the front office is willing to draft a RT with a 2nd/3rd rounder or sign a RT.

They consistently struggle to move defenders on run plays. They are very up and down with pass protection. Since losing Banks, that LT got smoked the entire game against the Raiders. Shough clearly was struggling from the pressure and getting hit too often.

That's about all I got.
