Which team wins in a round robin tournament?

I have to go 2011. Still think it’s out best team of all time. 2018 maybe if Brees didn’t get hurt.

I agree 2011 was undoubtedly Drew’s best season.

But if you go back and watch highlights from 2018 before his injury he was also on another level. (Eagles and Rams game especially)

And 2018 had a better defense. It’s close between the 2 teams

2011 team was better than 2009. 2011 vs 2018 is a better comparison

to do a quick compare

Offense

QB - 32 years old Brees vs 39 years old Brees ADV 2011

WR - Colston, Henderson, Moore, Meachem vs MT13, Trequan Smith (rookie), Tedd Ginn jr, Brandon tate. Adv 2011

TE Jimmy Graham, David Thomas vs Ben Watson, Josh Hill Adv 2011

RB - Pierre thomas, Mark ingram (rookie) vs Prime Mark Ingram and year two Kamara adv 2018

OLine - Bushrod, Nicks, (olin kreutz to start then a revolving door at center), Jahari Evans, Stinchcomb vs Armstead, Peat, Unger, Warford, Ram Slight edge 2018

Defense

Dline - Rookie Cam Jordan, Sed ellis, Shaun Rodgers, Will smith vs Prime Cam Jordan, Rankings, Onyemata, Okafor, Slight adv 2018

LBs - Jolon Dunbar, Jonathan Vilma, Jonathan casillas vs Demario davis, AJ klein, Manti t'eo/anazalone, Slight edge 2018

secondary - Jabrair Greer, tracy porter, Roman Harper, malcom jenkins vs Lattimore, Eli apple, marcus williams, Vonn Bell - adv 2018

Hartley and Morestead vs Lutz and Morestead, adv 2018

If you consider that both teams are at full health I personally lean more 2018

2009. Neither 2011 nor 2018 had Darren Sharper out there having his way with quarterbacks.

I think 2011 was the best team. But I remember thinking in 2009 that we seem to be getting every bounce this season. It was like we were fated to win it all that season. It was truly magical.

1.) Full Strength 2009
2.) Full Strength 2018
3.) Full Strength 2011

2011 was the best on offense but also the worst on defense of these 3 teams.

Didn’t the 2009 defense get way more turnovers than 2011?

I think 2018 was the most balanced team.

2011 was the best Saints team I’ve ever seen.

I don’t even want to think about that playoff disaster ever again.
