Now Bobby and Deke Threw Trump Under the bus

Football used to be pure escapism for 3 hours on a Sun. Sorta like golf. Then the rules got so watered down combined with the huge number of commercials has made the game dam near unwatchable. Now you throw in a healthy dose of politics. Throw in Deke and Bobby ranting about the Pres being a terrible leader essentially telling their listeners that they are stupid for supporting Trump. I prefer my escsapism to be free of politics or it ceases to bo escapism. Guess I'll stick with golf.

There was no reason at all for Trump to get involved in this. He pealed the scab off a festering wound.

Bobby probably has the same Right wing Political leanings as you.
I'm guessing he feels the President should be a bigger man / give the office the respect it deserves than wading into this nonsense. And feels the President should be above Childish/ divisive name calling.

All they said was Trump should have stayed out of it and likely has more important things to do (North Korea) than get people fired up over the NFL.

Our president called citizens of our own country SOBs for exercising their freedom of speech. Regardless if you agree with what they are doing or not, that seems a little messed up.
