Walker will have an MRI to confirm the injury from practice today, which drew an emotional reaction from his team.

Is it just me or are there too many people tearing their ACLs nowadays?

I just think it’s a combo of these guys being so big and so fast/strong playing a game that is requires explosive starting and stopping over and over. Over the years they’ve gotten bigger and bigger and the game has become more open and played in more space.

At some point physics just takes over.

You’re an idiot. COVID has nothing to do with ACL tears. The reason we see so many tears is because athletes are tuned so highly nowadays compared to the old days where guys would be smoking cigarettes and drinking beer after practices. When a body is that finely tuned and strong eventually it will find a weak spot in the body and a knee ligament is one of them. Theres only so much you can strengthen an ACL or Achilles.
