pretty sure it's been proved that he was trying to break up a fight and that was the only way to grab a hold of her.. not saying you are wrong but you may be exaggerating a little but just to fit your narrative

Dont bother.
If this was Joe Blow instead of Will Smith, the responses would be about Joe drinking and driving, hit and run, having a gun and the general consensus would be "play stupid games, win stupid prizes". The thread would last two hours and both black guys would be declared thugs and we would be on to the next thread.
With this being a liked Saints player, some of the locals have already convicted Hayes of murder and he would have been in the chair a few days ago.

retty sure it's been proved that he was trying to break up a fight and that was the only way to grab a hold of her.

oh I know man, I find it hilarious that well known lawyers that really know what they are talking about lean towards Hayes but the Saints talk Mafia know better

LOL. No one denied this. How does this justify a shooting anyway?

so she is mentally unstable and wild. plus it was the police that pressed charges in lafayette. not her or some civilian.

I don't remember where I found the article about Smith's arrest in Lafayette but I happened to read all of the comments following said article.
An employee of the bond company is the one who stated that Smith was trying to get his wife out of a confrontation at a bar in Lafayette and grabber her hair to get her out of there.
It might seem abusive to you but it's certainly NOT wife beating!
Please quit trolling.
Edited to add that Racquel was having a discussion with two other guys at that Lafayette bar and Will was trying to get her out of the bar before anything escalated. I have no idea what the topic of conversation/argument was about.

Smith is accused of grabbing his wife by the hair and pulling her down the street near a nightclub in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Mrs. Smith suffered minor injuries

Will Smith had a reputation of being a bad MFer in the locker room, so I dont doubt he dragged her around by her hair, just like I don't doubt that he got all up in Hayes's face and said shite that escalated the situation.
But none of that justifies him being gunned down unless you are one of the Lester Earl kooks who thinks Smith pulled a gun and the police are engaged in a cover up.

That could have been 3 steps away from the front door of the bar. How else would the cop writing the report write it up?
A minor injury could have happened if she fell off her shoes. Look at the picture of them dressed up. She's wearing 6" heels if she's wearing 1"
My point is you weren't there to make a judgment. The case would not have gotten dismissed if the judge in any way thought Racquel was abused. It wouldn't have mattered what she said to try to get the charges dropped.

WHO THE frick SAID IT DID!! Lord man, let the fricking case go through court before you speculate that he rammed them, shot them for no reason, etc. All I've defended is that there is more to this case than what was originally reported.

That happens all the time in domestic abuse cases. If the woman drops the charges and doesnt play ball, that is usually that

You made a statement, was challenged to cite examples, failed miserably to do so, and now you are backtracking.
Are you here to engage in a real debate or not?

Lafayette is a small town where everyone knows everyone.
I doubt if domestic abuse would fly there but keep laughing if you want to.
