Totally agree. It’s not like this is his 8th season as an NFL quarterback or anything. I’m sure he just needs more time to develop.

This was a HUGE excuse for Winston earlier in the season before his injury.

But somehow Dalton managing an offense with that same excuse gets ignored.

Bruh Dalton threw 7 completions to guys not named kamara. Winston didn't have those 3 last year either.

Dalton didn't manage anything. He threw a pick. Taysom won this game

Dude we aren't winning much with the QB play we got today (actual QB play, not Taysom's stuff)

Jamies had Thomas, Landry, and Olave in most of his starts and was still shite...

He played very meh

Can't say it's great with that terrible pick and a sub-200 yard performance.

This isn't 1994

Well Winston is the starter, Dalton was brought in as a back up. Dalton is doing his job.
Dalton has been a serviceable backup. He’s also been a serviceable starter.

I’m sure Winston would make an excellent backup for us too

I pray that DA is smart enough to play the more efficient qb, but in todays social climate, I highly doubt the Rifle starts if Winston is healthy.

You nailed it with this statement, the same reason the cowboys will go back to Dak

It’s ok. We already know you’re Winston’s personal fluffer. No need in trying to convince us further.

Andy managed the game perfect and let the playmakers that we had left do their jobs. He had one bad pass.
Kamara’s fumble was more impactful than the Dalton INT.
Tre’Quan hurt Dalton’s stat line bad.

I take Dalton’s managing style over Winston’s “being the star” style.

16/24
187 yards
7.8 ypa
1 TD
1 INT

Nothing special and the pick removes the "he managed the game well" argument.

The out route that got picked was bad but he was a victim of drops too. Dalton moved the ball and converted when we needed it. I’d say he climbed the pocket and made some nice plays. Did he win the game? No. But he didn’t lose the game either. I’ll take it.

You think the Saints are going to win many games with our QB throwing for sub-200 yards?

I would take the JW from last year over Red but not this year. Dalton looks better so far.
