**Bumped for emphasis - do you believe in the gris gris now? **

The same fans that say we should have taken care of business are the same that will say sometimes you need a little luck.

Feels like the Saints have a permanent gris-gris on them.

Someone go put an offering on Marie Laveau's before the first playoff game!

The Saints have nobody to blame but themselves. If they’re as good as we think they are they should be able to do it the hard way.

Do you walk to work or drive? If you're as good as you think you are, you can do it the hard way.

Right?

Should have taken care of Atlanta. That being said, ask me at week 3 if I thought we'd be the 3 seed I'd say haha no.

13-3 division winners have gotten a bye every year except twice. The Saints have have the privilege of owning both of them.

This is a horseshite argument. We have horrible luck as a franchise even when we are good and I find it more and more amazing every year that we got to witness a Super Bowl win.

Well, Saints shouldn’t have shite the bed against Atlanta then.

Dumb take. All Saints had to do was beat the crappy Falcons or the 49ers at home if they wanted home field.

If this team is good enough to win the Super Bowl it's good enough to beat any team anywhere. Man 't3h' eff up.

Yes, because playing in the NFL is soooo easy. it's even more of a point that playing that one extra game is HUGE.

You make it past the wildcard and you're playing a much more rested team. That can be all the advantage a lesser team needs to beat a superior team.

Lol STFU

You idiots spew this garbage every time we fail to get a top seed and every time we don't even get past the divisional round.

Hmmmm maybe there's a correlation between getting beat up in the wildcard and having to play a rested opponent?

thanks for proving my point.

2012 Ravens are the last team to make the Super Bowl without a bye.

Interestingly, there was a 3-year stretch where the Super Bowl Champs all played in the WC round (Packers-Giants-Ravens).

Exactly. But people want to make excuses. The Saints controlled their own destiny and fricked up. That being said I think they can come through the wildcard round and go all the way.

Dude, you are insufferable. Why do some of you even waste your time following this team if you quit because things aren’t what YOU see as perfect?

Lol y’all funny

It’s 13-0 at half. We don’t even know the results of this game. Russell Wilson is big time in 4th quarter. You never know
