It's a long way to know if Wentz can be back to himself.

If I'm Philly, do I take into consideration where he wants to go?

All the backups eventually play anyway bc they all suck! So might as well make some money lol

Foles has a $3 million roster bonus due in March. I have no idea how that would effect the Eagles cap if they trade before that bonus is due but its worth mentioning.
They'd save $7 mil ($4 mil salary and the $3 mil bonus) but still owe $2.4 mil in remaining signing bonus.
They are already on the hook for $600k in signing bonus this year so the acceleration from trading him would add $1.8 mil.
So $7 mil minus $1.8 mil means they'd save in total $5.2 mil by trading him, plus net a pretty good pick or two.
If he isn't traded by March 18th they'd only save $2.2 mil and likely would demand higher compensation for the extra incurred cost, making it slightly less likely he'll be traded.

The Browns more likely to give up a ransom for Kirk Cousins I think.

He was pretty terrible except for the NFCCG and Super Bowl. I'd be very careful to sign him to a big deal or give up early draft picks. Sometimes guys have something click for a couple games and then shite the bed the rest of the way. Fortunately for the Eagles it clicked for the 2 most important games of the season.

Just because he won a super bowl, doesn't mean he is a great qb. (Dilfer, Doug Williams, Brad Johnson, Lee Dawson)
He could very well be Jeff Hostetler.
also, his career would die on browns imo. That TEAM is bad.
Jacksonville would be great for any QB worth his weight.

I wasn’t implying he was suddenly good. In fact, that’s the whole reason I said (again).
Just wondering if some team will trade for him/pay him because of his SB success and the lack of even mediocre quarterbacks in the league

He made a lot of great throws but pedersons system is very qb friendly it seems

Alex Smith is going to land in one of these towns.

He’s an avg NFL QB with an above average arm. I think Pederson might be some kind of offensive genius.
I agree with you but he did have one great season under Chip Kelly in 2013. I think whoever gets Foles is going to have to tailor what they do offensively around what Foles is good at. The proof is in the pudding if you listen to Pederson, he changed his offensive playcalling up to more what Chip Kelly was doing with Foles in his lone great season and it payed off.

AZ Cardinals for a 2nd round pick

I actually like Foles so I hope the Browns don't sign him.
However, they'd be stupid not to throw the bank at him.

I think he deserves that.
But if I was the GM I would be fielding offers from Jax or Jets

Dude stays in Philly, think he was ready to retire and Doug talked him into playing. Hell of good insurance policy for Eagles.

So you think he’s gonna turn down $60 million?
Just get traded and hold out, someone will budge
