NFL trade deadline is less than a week away.

The team is about 3 1/2 million UNDER the cap, surprisingly.
Any guess of who might be on the block? I don't see the team folding their hand just yet. Maybe Onyematta. Davenport will cost a bundle next year. I don't think we move anybody but you never know.

I don't think we can move anyone of significance. All the guys who would get top compensation would kill us with dead money.

Anytime, but no one is trading for a HC during the middle of the season

I fully expect some movement on him towards the end of the season or right after.

Does a team still need to "Rooney Rule" the traded for coach before officially hiring him?

I'm sure they do. All that's required is two people from the advisory panel list to be interviewed or someone who is not currently employed by the team who is considered diverse.

Wish the Saints could move a couple guys for draft picks. Need to look to the future and rebuild the draft war chest that Loomis emptied.
