They just aren't the same team away from the Superdome

Saints are 6-1 on the road.

5-1 at home.

So yeah, they're a different team.

They're BETTER on the road.

Idk why they always point out the saints about the playing different on the road crap when every freaking NFL team plays better at home than on the road. Yeah lets not talk about the rams struggling to win numerous road games this year and look great at home

This is so old now. Everyone is touting the Rams "home field advantage" mostly because they overcame a shootout with the Chiefs. What they forget is that LA's stadium is usually 50% "Rams" fans, 35% Opponent fans, and 15% Random fans that will cheer for whoever they feel like. Thats not a home field advantage, and when the Rams opponent scores you can clearly hear the cheers through the tv. If you can hear cheers when your opponent scores loud and clearly, you DO NOT have a true home field advantage.

The Saints are never going to dominate sports media/journalism for one very simple reason that we ALL know: NOLA is a small market. THAT is why the sports media will always be trying to find any way possible to talk about a big market team from Dallas, or Chicago, or LA, or NYC or pick any market bigger than NOLA, which is a rather small city and a rather small market.

our road record is great but regardless the game being in L.A. wouldn't exactly be some daunting task. Probably the worst home field advantage among the NFC playoff teams.

Yep if you have to go on the road then this is the place. CSP has only 1 road playoff win right?

Exactly. It’s not like the norm for an NFL team is to play as well or better on the road at home, and any team that doesn’t has some kind of crucial deficit. So in that case, saying “the Saints aren’t the same team on the road” strikes me as less of a critical observation than a rehash of the old tired “dome team” narrative.
