Now that Drew is returning, do you think it’s necessary to acquire one or two more offensive weapons? If we keep the roster as is for the most part will we see a repeat of the past few years (playoffs but not getting over the hump)?

We needed more weapons last year. That’s not changing with Drew one year older.

Regardless if he came back or not, we need help on offense. I’m hoping for one of those high caliber WR to still be there in the 1st

Saints will go as far as the defense goes. It's time to invest and having a top defense.

Peyton Manning has Von Miller and Wade Phillips to thank for his second ring.

Cooper is going to demand way more money than we are capable of paying.

Floor is 11 wins imo.

Defense doesn't concern me if everyone is healthy. Maybe add another CB.

Find a WR2 in the mold of Deebo Samuel and a speedy LB in the draft. Stay healthy and we might go all the way.

Like the saints have been doing for the last 4-5 drafts?

Think that’s a little optimistic. We’ve won a lot of games the last few seasons. Hard to just keep that up unless you’re the patriots. Pretty rare a team goes 11, 13,13, then 11+ again. I certainly think we could get to 11 or more but it wouldn’t be weird at all to see us fall back to 8 or 9 wins.

You must have missed that thing called a "playoff game" against the Vikings where Brees and the offense (outside of Hill) completely choked.

I saw the game where D Cook had 130 total yards and two touchdowns.

Great def can over come a bad day for the offence.

The same game where the defense gave up just 7 in the second half, had 3 straight stops in the 4th? One of those stops being after Drew fumbled on 1st down in FG range down 3.

Maybe in the 80s. Not today. The offense was embarrassing and lost that game.

It does if you have an offense with a pulse

I really think we need to rethink the way we attack teams later in the season. When the refs allow coverages to be more aggressive we simply haven’t been able to adjust.

Feel like having a couple of fast twitch WRs who can accelerate quickly after the catch and committing to the power run more would be huge for Brees ride into the sunset.
