trading thomas would be essentially kicking off a rebuild so who cares about cap space this year, it would help the future.

fricking brilliant, Chad. Let’s rebuild when we have a dominant defense, an all pro level running back, a pretty good offensive line and we are just a decent QB and 2nd WR away from being a really really good team in a division that is taking a downturn next year.

Maybe we can trade for Josh Allen. They will probably blow up and restart too since they lost to Kansas City. Hell, KC might rebuild since they didn’t even make the Super Bowl this year. Only makes sense. JFC!!!

If he wants to stay but we trade him away for picks and salary then yes it looks like a rebuild.
If he wants to get away from the team then its just trying to get what we can while we can and doesn't have to be a rebuild.

I've never understood fans wanting to blow up a team and suck. The braves' board I post on was irate when the braves actually added at the deadline instead of selling this past year.
