I can't wait. I'm actually missing the LSU/Auburn game to go to the game in Miami. Should be a blast.

Well they almost beat the Colts like this...

I think we'll probably win by double digits again but it's not as if it's absurd to think that they can employ a game plan that will limit our posessions.

This game has all the makings of what many may consider a "trap" game, but I think the Saints will come in prepared and not give a let down performance.
That being said, I see the Dolphins being able to move the ball out of the wild cat, but I see the Saints playing a "bend don't break" type of defense to keep them to field goals.
Our offense should have no problems moving the ball, we just need to limit Miamis T.O.P.

Well I see I'm too late to use the term 'trap game'

Miami is not a bad team. They like to use ball control keep it simple and let you make the errors.

But if we get a quick lead this will turn into a rout real quick

This game scares me too...if you watched the Dolphins Colts game, Miami's best defense was their offense. Their drives are slow and steady and they convert 3rd and 4th down. 3rd down stops are going to be huge. Pushing them to 3rd and long and forcing a young Henne to make passes against our D is going to be key. Im not worried about our offense, its just getting Brees on the field and getting Brown/Williams off of it

Could be trap game after huge victory. Will have to deal with the wildcat and another good offense line. playing on real grass, and in the elements will also be a factor. I think the Saints will outscore them and win a close game!!

I think we blow up the Wildcat by scoring early forcing them into passing earlier than they want too. If they're down 21, I doubt they run it too much.

I do think bush would be a good canidate for the wildcat in the saints offense. just due to the style of player he is and the type of speed he has. misdirestion would give him the extra few steps he needs to turn the cornor; as he does in the end arounds and reverses. Saints win if Brees stays off the grass early like he did last week. Defense will handle their own and make the wildcat turn into the "pussy"cat lol.

No way the Saints lose this game. It might be close for a quarter or so but Brees Inc. is going to crush these guys.

This is the NFL. Every game is a scary one when you are undefeated, especially if your team (i.e. the Siants) have never gone to the Super Bowl. However, I don't see any reason to logically believe that the Fins can stop this offense. There are way too many weapons. The nice thing about this for the Saints is that one or two guys can have a down game, and the offense is still as good as many of the other top offenses in the league. Not saying that a loss is impossible by any means, but my brain and my heart are both telling me Saints by 20.

wake up people. enough with the "trap" talk. do you REALLY believe that this team and drew brees are not going to be ready for this team? they have not trailed this year. they have a top 6 offense AND defense. they dismantled the numero uno defense in the league and everyones "best most complete team" in the nfl. drew brees is a man on fire. a leader with a cause. this is THE complete team that the media was talking about all along. A team that takes nothing for granted. Plays hard every down. Is coached well, has a complete game plan every week, and the best fricking QB in the game right now executing flawlessly. We outscore opponents like a bazillion to nill in the 4th. We score on every first possession this year, and almost every possession period. Our corners are playing lights out, linebackers are owning the second level of defense, ends are getting to the QB, and good run stuffing and pressure from the interior. Oh, and a little 3 headed monster in the backfield to make life worse for the enemy. There's also a guy kicking the ball with a 454 big block for a leg. I'm surprised a satellite hasn't been knocked out of orbit from the hangtime. A fullback that looks like robocop, and not only can he block, but can run, catch, and score when called upon. This team is about as complete and dominate as I have ever seen in my 35 years of being a saints fan. They are never satisfied, focused, determined, and will make every opponent pay dearly.
Load the box? Fine. Brees will tear your arse up. Drop into coverage? Fine. PT/Bell will run it down your throat. Blitz? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Brees eats up the blitz for big plays like all day. It's either first down or touch down.
So bring that wildshit offense and I welcome the challenge. It will be pitch and catch all day Sunday on the field we'll tear up twice this year. Trap game? No no son. Not this year. Not this team. We are a focused, determined, well prepared group on that field EVERY Sunday for every opponent. I don't see a trap or a close one at all.

Payton will have the team prepared, they are all being very professional in their manner...they mean business. It doesn't look good for the fins or anybody else who play against the Saints. If they stay healthy it will be a great season.

48-17 i agree with whodatfan. He is right on alot of things when it comes to the saints. I feel like we are going to pass the ball and shred them up. If you look at our games this year we have been shredding everyone up the game is pretty much over at the start of the fourth. The wildcat can be stop. Williams will prove it.

Everyone noting the Colts/Fins game: The colts D is not near as stout as ours. Sure, they have speed, but our defense is stuffing the run this year, not to mention picking off QBs left and right (especially rookie QBs)

We will make Heine look like a rookie, sharper will get 2 picks, one for 6 most likely.

Also, there's no way that we ever run the wildcat while Brees is our QB and Payton is our coach. It's a gimmick play at best and there is a reason they are 2-3.

If we shut down Brown and the Wildcat (which I think GW can surely do) this game can get very ugly fast. Heine will be forced to force the ball and our CB, safeties will eat him up.
