My final draft guess.

14. OT Taliese Fuaga, Oregon St: I think we prefer Fashanu but he goes a couple picks ahead of us. Kubiak gets his zone run blocking machine RT for the next 10 years. The guy is a mauler with the feet to switch to LT but he stays at RT.
51. TRADE w/ Pitt. 45, 168 (5th) and 2025 6th for 51, 84 (3rd)
WR Xavier Legette, South Carolina: Saints get their MT replacement with size, speed and YAC specialist.
67. TRADE w/ Washington: 2025 2nd, 170 (5th), 190 (6th) Washington has 3 picks in the 3rd round so they are the perfect r team to deal with.
DT Maason Smith, LSU: Hard to pass up Smith’s upside here. If he develops and strengthens his lower body and learns to play with better leverage, He and Bresee would be a nasty combination inside.
84. (From trade down w/ Pitt in 2nd round)
LT Kiran Amegadjie, Yale: You get your bookend tackles in the top 3 rounds and competition for Penning for the LT job. Extremely athletic and smart. He’s the exact type of guy the Saints target character-wise.
150. S Cole Bishop, Utah: 6’2” safety that is great at the line of scrimmage but still has the speed to cover TE and RB. Extremely hard hitter and was the enforcer for the Utah defense. Could be the honey badger’s eventual replacement.
175. NT T’Vondre Sweat, Texas: The Saints get an absolute steal in Sweat who is dropping on draft boards for off the field reasons. I take the chance on him and he ends up being the big run stopping nose tackle we need that gets 20-25 snaps per game. Also thought about DT Jordan Jefferson from LSU here but didn’t want to sound like a homer.
199: P Tory Taylor, Iowa: Hedley is garbage and this guy has a huge leg. He beats out Hedley easily.
239: TE Tip Reiman, Illinois: Kubiak gets a big inline blocking TE for his zone run scheme
*****UDFA: RB Frank Gore Jr., Southern Miss: Watched several of his games and the kid has a lot of his father in him. He can be a practice squad guy and develop into a rotation back with Miller and Kamara. Dylan Laube from New Hampshire and Isaiah Davis from South Dakota St are other good UDFA RB candidates but Gore dominated at USM.

No fricking thanks on Maason Smith. Classic looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane prospect.

I agree but I’d take the risk at that spot. Braden Fiske would be great but he will be an early 2nd round pick. i honestly like Mekhi Wingo more than Smith but his traits are worth taking the risk.
