the Saints have a very tight group of guys and Moss is a pure a-hole...i hope he ends with the Jets...I'd love to see that dysfunctional group of retards with the biggest mouth this side of T.O.

This is not going to happen. Saints have bigger concerns, like resigning some of their key players, like Brees, Nicks, and Colston to big time money. Cap is also an issue here.
Besides, do the saints really need to take the risk of bringing in a guy who may quit completely and be a big distraction for the team? I mean seriously, Brees has plenty of weapons, and doesn't need a big name receiver to make big time production.

ok, so the guy had more 50% more talent than any other WR, but only used 80% of it 60% of the time.
So whats that formula look like when he has 20% less talent than most WRs because he's aged?
solve for x. go.
In his prime he would average 88% of his maximum ability over the course of a season. And still play at a level of 38% higher than the competition on average.
Today he would play at an average of 43.6% per game lower than what his competition played when he was in his prime adn nearly 80% worse than he, himself used to play.
Did I do that right?

For everyone bashing Moss on this thread, how would you honestly feel if it was announced tomorrow that he signed with ATL or Carolina?
Would it make you even the slightest bit nervous?
Cause it would sure as hell scare the shite out of me.
That is reason enough to work him out and see if he's got anything left in the tank.
fricking Cam throwing bombs to Moss would give me fricking nightmares.

if we lose meachem, i'd be 100% on board with bringing in moss

Guys, it's low risk, high reward. No reason we shouldn't explore it.

Exactly he will be cheap with really high reward
Posted on 2/15/12 at 10:35 pm to 504hornets
if you call $925K cheap I guess so, that's the minimum for him
every dollar counts when you're as cap tight as things are. Even if ya can accept Brees and just one of Nicks or Colston it's gonna be tough cap management

So, him going completely psycho in NE just gets glossed over?
He got into a fight with a coach, was a complete a-hole, and didn't care for the rest of the year.

Yup.
He is clearly not a replacement for Colston. But could be a cheap? replacement for Meach.
