with Al Michaels.

"Were in New Olreans at the Superdome."

"We welcome you inside the Superdome"

Mercedes-Benz Superdome Al!

This might take a while to catch on

I was thinking the same thing... I don't think it was mentioned or brought up once.

when you have a 40 year old building thats been called "The Superdome" for its entire existence, it may take a while for even the broadcasters to throw in "Mercedes-Benz" when they say the name.

And I don't see ANY M-B signage at the Dome.

I thought that behind the endzones were huge Mercedez Benz banners?

I thought the field had "Mercedes-Benz Superdome" painted on either side of the FDL?

They might claim ownership of the dome and force us to play at Tad Gormley.

They still call the Hornets the Charlotte Hornets sometimes so I think this may take a while.

It's a good thing Arnie Fielkow doesn't work for the Saints anymore. You know the Germans would try to make him the scapegoat.

Which is exactly why I have said many times that a corporate sponsorship of the Superdome is not really all that valuable to the corporation that buys it.

It's not smart.

But... thanks for the $$$, stupid!

"looking down at the newly named Mercedes-Benz Superdome"

Al Michaels must have gotten a sternly worded phone call from a man named Hans.
