Mental mistakes are inexcusable in the NFL.

But they happen a lot. Emotions are sometimes hard to control in a game and today you saw the Saints making mental mistakes and literally got beat at the line of scrimmage. This loss hurt because the Saints really needed it. Raiders are actually a pretty good team punched the Saints in the mouth.

The refs will never make calls to help the Saints on a consistent basis. Especially in game altering moments.

This was biggest, most egregious reffing error of the game. Most obvious hold right in front of the referee. Should’ve been 2nd and 20 from the 31 yard line. Instead it’s first and goal from the 6. Absolutely huge and total garbage.
