The system elevated him WAY above his talent level. Plain and simple. He’s older.

He’s.

No but you were touting his TDs and calling people morons for saying he isn’t good.

Last year was a freak year for him. He had a high of I believe 4 for the entirety of his career previously and broke 600 yards only one other time.

Half his seasons in the nfl he averaged under 4 ypc and that was with Aaron rodgers as his qb.

You could get those numbers from an undrafted rookie or cheap journeyman.

Idc they gave him a TD, it was the process they used doing it. Just run a play the failcons were obviously still trying to win the game. DA is a sissy and lacks killer instinct. The players don’t respect him at all but probably did it in defiance of them asking him to run a play and he turned them away. It’s the last game of the season he should have let them have fun but instead we had to stoop to that level of bush league. Honestly it’s all on DA

So he can score when used properly, thanks for agreeing.

ETA: Try reading the thread before jumping in to argue something no one is arguing. No one said Williams is elite. The argument is that our staff fricking sucks, and Williams not getting a TD til the last play of the season is on them, not him

Yo Cucke985 just stop. Your cluelessness is burning bright. They players ran from victory, because they knew if they lined up in jumbo that your fellow Cuck Coach would immediately call a timeout to stop the play from happening. They did what they had to do in order to do what they felt was right. Their Cuck Coach did not have their backs, so they took matters into their own hands.

Now go cleanup your wife's mess you cuck bitch.

Any running back in the league would have a boatload of TDs if they were the sole guy at the goaline in a run heavy system. Swift was out for the majority of last season and they let him fall into the end zone many many times. That doesn’t make him special or even average. It’s just Detroit’s game.

You could give the ball to any plodder and he’d fall into the end zone for them.

On a shitty line like ours in a shitty system a below average playerlike Williams is gonna look shitty. Glad we paid him instead of some rookie that we could’ve had for essentially free though.

I’d argue it’s on both. Shitty staff, relatively shitty player. Also this thread is guys just calling each other cuck and dumb shite. At least we’re arguing

He gave up a career stat so a bust could score a TD. Honey Badger is a great human being

No, he just showed he is too damned slow at his age to be caught from behind by an offensive lineman.

Think the truth is somewhere in the middle between he's a stud and he is easily replaceable by an UDFA. His contract is only $4m per which is in line with what we paid Murray and Ingram to be RB2 the last few years. Looks like we can cut him after next season and save $3.1m against the cap.

I think he's a solid backup to spell AK41. Miller looked great yesterday and gets 2024 to figure it out before we figure out what to do with 30 year old AK41 before his 2025 cap hit of $22.4m.

We picked up JW to be what he was in Detroit...a 3-4 yard pounder between the tackles. And we just don't use power runners much at all in the CSP/Pete offense.
