No way we cut Fleener, Hooman, or Hill imo. If we did decide to sign him...I assume we would cut someone that just plays special teams & doesn't provide currently needed depth like Lasco (technically, he's our #3 RB right now though), Edmunds, DeVante Harris, Mauti, or the obvious Bryce Harris. I would say Justin Hardee, but he's been pretty damn good on special teams lately. Maybe even take a chance on Carr or Taysom Hill.

I'm not saying we should or shouldn't sign him, but I think Brees could turn him into a decent weapon for us. That is assuming he's even healthy enough to play.

Bennett talks retirement

You want a guy that basically said he's done?

I mean if he wants to give it all he's got to retire with another sb sure.

I dont care what his desire would be because it seems to change on a yearly basis. I dont think it is a coincidence no one keeps him around long.

We would just need him for a half season. From 2012-2016...he had top 5 (top 7 at worst) numbers for a TE when he had Eli Manning, Cutler, & Brady throwing to him.

Like I said before, I'm not saying we need him, but if he's healthy enough to play...it's an option to consider with Brees throwing to him.

From a talent standpoint i certainly see the appeal. Its his general personality i dont want on this team that could potentally effect others. With him, everything was always someone elses fault.

He is a really good player but even those guys reporting on his cut have basically said he quit on the team when Rodgers went down.

I’d pass. He has a very strong personality and I don’t want anything jeopardizing that locker room

That is a legitimate concern. Our locker room seems rock solid right now, & disrupting that could be very detrimental.

We've won 6 games in row without having a single let down game. Almost every team has a game that they seriously under-performed. Like the Bills against the Jets.

Exactly...

There are certain circumstances where I believe you should take the gamble on a personality that not mesh well with others. I just dont think this is it

We've established a pretty respectable locker room after all the mess the last few years and you want to ruin it by adding this cancer?

We don’t need more injured players. This guy has been passed around the league like a Bourbon Street hooker! Hooman and Hill are excellent blockers and adequate receivers and Fleener has had some big catches lately when called on. Drew spreads it around in order to keep defenses of balance. We really don’t need 1 stud TE like Graham because it makes your offense predictable. Pass on Bennett!
