Callaway has average height & speed. That's probably why he wasn't drafted. Well, that & having shitty QB's throwing to him in college.

Good at blocking, good hands, runs good routes, & very underrated strength (hands & fighting for extra yards). Also a damn good returner.

He never really screws up, & that's a very rare trait for an udfa rookie WR. He plays like he's been in the league for like 5 or 6 years.

IMO, probably a legit #3 WR already with the possibility of developing into a #2. Such a good find.

He really slipped through the cracks from out of nowhere.
They seem to have done their homework.

Saints need to draft or acquire only Tennessee players

His vertical is 81 percentile and his broad jump is 83. So he does have some explosive traits. He’s faster than Mike Thomas. Long speed is overrated in our offense anyway

The best thing about Callaway is that even if he never got any better than he is right now, he’s still really valuable to us. Great run blocker, very good ST player and a reliable WR3.

Not the 1st time Payton and Brees have discovered a UDFA WR. Lance Moore came from a very similar, under the radar type situation. He played for Toledo. He came here undrafted and just worked his way onto the roster. Caught everything that came his way and worked his arse off to be a trusted member of the Saints WR corps. Made a great name for himself, carved out a very nice NFL career complete with a Super Bowl ring. He was a very valuable and trusted member of the team. Scored a 2pt conversion in the Super Bowl.

Calloway looks like a keeper. Great job by the Saints on finding this guy. He can play.
