My point was that he was a non factor for the most part after that. Wasn't trying to pull anything.

Philly at Philly. First road playoff win. It appears you may have missed it.

Finally Ingram has stopped running into the back of people. He's starting to show vision.

I still can't see him getting more than 10 maybe 12 touches a game tho. PT and Khiry are pretty good too.

You said second half and then quoted stats from seven games. Half an NFL season is eight games.

I didn't miss it. I believe in one of your earlier posts you said he was a beast the second half of the season. One great game vs Dallas and a good game vs Philly does not constitute a great second half.

Just admit you didn't realize that he was mediocre save for a few games during the last 10. You've basically done so when you posted that his second half stats from ESPN couldn't be correct.

You're going to pick nits? Good Lord, EVERYONE knows he kicked arse vs Dallas. That's part of the reason everyone has inflated his second half of 2013 in their minds.

You can't ignore a good game from the second half last season to try to make point idiot.

Tell me his YPA and tell me how useless he was again.

I know you have to constantly use insults to make your point. It makes me believe you more.

I'm not ignoring the Dallas game, I figured it was understood. But throw it in there and he was still mediocre and not close to a "beast." But, I realize you are blinded by subjectivity and one or two games is enough for you to consider him great. Good for you. it'll make you happy.

Sorry I'll call you out ok not knowing what you were watching. He averaged almost 6 yards per attempt against some very good run defenses (obviously not counting Dallas in that category), and was a big factor in our first road playoff game.

You've demonstrated you have no clue what you're talking about. Sorry to call you out. I notice you keep ignoring the per attempt stat. Why is that?

Ingram had a good YPC last year. He was far from mediocre. After he came back from injury, he was a beast. The games where he wasn't were the games where CSP wouldn't feed him.

There's been plenty of posts about how we spent too much on getting him and about drafting a player we don't try to feature.

Don't even try to pull this crap. ST is completely infested with Mark Ingram threads all year long with nary a peep about Payton.

You find me a thread specifically calling out the FO for drafting Ingram, with no mention of bama in a negative way, and I will find you 10 Mark Ingram threads.

So no Ingram criticism has ever been justified?

Criticism and hatred are different. He gets way more of the latter than the former.

Are Toon haters doing it cause they're expecting an LSU loss?

lolwut? Same bet on Toon threads. I'll find you 10 "Ingram sucks" threads for every "Toon sucks" thread you find.

I got you on this one:

Ingram
"2nd half of the year stats":
Including dallas since its so kindly SECOND half for him.

57 carries
336 yards
5.9 ypc

7 receptions
68 yards

0 Fumbles
------------
Ingram Postseason:
28 carries
146 yards
5.2ypc

3 receptions
17 yards

1FL

So how is 5.9 and 5.2ypc bad?

"b/c total yards lol"

Ingram was a freight train in the second half of last season.

And just to compare the stupidity of the "Ingram sucked in the second half", here's PT and Robinson from that same half.

PT
68 attempts
272 yards
4.0 ypc

38 receptions
223 yards
---------------------
Robinson
21 attempts
78 yards
3.7 ypc

0 receiving

Postseason:
21 attempts
102 yards
4.9 ypc

1 reception
13 yards

It was a nice average but Ypc would regress to the mean with more carries.

Again, admit that you didn't realize his numbers were that low and that's why you referred to him as a beast.

a 5.7 average with those few carries is not beastly by any means.

I'll admit that I was wrong when I said he sucked.

I already knew his #'s weren't going to be high. But if you watched last season, after that Dallas game the switch turned on for him. You could just look at how he ran and it was a different Ingram from the past 3 years. Once Armstead went in, we took off (i.e. Carolina)

Ingram Postseason:
28 carries
146 yards
5.2ypc

3 receptions
17 yards

1FL

Against:
#10 ranked run defense: 104.2ypg
3.77ypr
18 rushes 97 yards (5.4ypc)

#8 ranked run defense: 101.6ypg
3.86ypr
10 rushes 49 yards (4.9ypc)

Just to add in:
#2 ranked run defense: 86.9ypg
3.95ypr
13 rushes 83 yards (6.4ypc)

Would Robinson's regress, as well?

I wasn't referring to you with the total yards comment, but my assessment of him was too harsh. I still say he wasn't a beast but he did hopefully show a durable improvement.

At 3.7, hopefully it would move up. The fewer the attempts the more skewed the average will be, good or bad.
