So happy. That 10-17 record against the Saints. They were jumping up and down at the end. He wanted that win more than anyone..

Well he is the GM of the team after all. Must be nice to have someone competent at that position.

Wish we would hire Drew in that type of position. This team appears to be lacking solid leadership, or leadership they can relate to.

Everyone who works for the Saints and the Pels answers to Lauscha. That includes Loomis.
So would he (Brees) and Loomis then be co-equals? Nope. It doesn’t work.
So the other alternative is to put Brees between Lauscha and Loomis. Loomis would walk if Brees got inserted between he and Lauscha. (Not a bad thing in itself but then you need a real (and competent) GM because Brees ain’t gonna be a real GM).
So: TLDR: Brees ain’t coming back.
