well since you have all the stats, I bet you already knew that Reggie had a higher YPC than PT last year

And since you know that then you know PT has a higher career avg.

Tough question, one has great vision, which is really underrated, and a great runner on screen plays. The other is a great asset as a decoy and as a change of pace runner and good receiver out of the backfield.

Man, I guess I'd rather keep Pierre just because he's a little younger, but its real close.

Reggie Bush is a playmaker, simple as that. He becomes a scoring threat the second he steps on the field.

Like, teams go out of their way to prepare for this guy because they know how dangerous he is.

I dont think many people understand the value of having a player like this.

while we're on this topic....

Dont you guys hate the assholes that "boooo" when Reggie tries to make a play and loses a yard or two, but they cheer like its going out of style when he actually does make a play?

Probably one of my top 3 peeves of all top. shite pisses me off to no end.

I have actually already stated that I think Reggie should be our long term option. But let's just not throw PT out and act like he is chopped liver and that no other team in the league would like to have a back with his skill set. You stated that any team could have a back with 700 yards. Yes, that is true, but he got 793 on 147 carries. That is 5.4 YPC. That is pretty amazing. Just get PT's stats correct before you dismiss him.

behind arguably the best Oline in the NFL. I appreciate PT, and I am glad he is on the team, but I don't think the Saints should bow down to pressure and pay him like a top 10 back in the league like he wants, when he clearly is not.

Why do you deny his stats? His ypc is clearly top 10?

He plays behind arguably the best line in the nfl. Maurice Clarett could run for 5.0 YPC behind this line.

I love Pierre. but Reggie creates so many issues for opponents defenses and reggie allows Brees and Payton to do alot more
