Is peak Drew Brees coming out of retirement? That’s the only way Sean Payton wins a Super Bowl.
We’ve seen this movie before. Allen gets hired as senior defensive assistant and waits until Joseph gets fired as DC at some point. That’s what happened after he got bounced with the Raiders. He was on the Saints staff and became DC when Payton fired Rob Ryan.
