No one is trading for him, and inheriting that contract. He'll be cut and an unrestricted FA.

Cap hit of over $5M in 2014 and $5.5M in 2015? He is not worth it.

Will always go down as one of the players that made this team special. Guys like he, Pierre Thomas, and other UDFA who found a home/career/super bowl with the Saints will always be loved by the fans.

The UDFA's are special because we cheer for them a little harder and when they succeed it just feels betters. Guys who played in college and were passed on by every team in the draft until finding the right fit with a team who would take a chance on them. Moore didn't have the speed or height, but he made an impact by working hard and playing the game right.

His touchdown dances will be missed, and while I am happy we are going to add some new blood to the receiver pool, I will always remember Lance Moore and what he has done for the organization.

The responses in this thread are pretty cavalier.

Moore was one of my favorite saints.
Great competitor, and a UDFA, as well.

Some of the best hands in the league.

I will absolutely miss seeing him in the black and gold.

I think it's because I've accepted it. And I've learned that even though some of these guys are outstanding Saints, they aren't outstanding players forever.

Stills will glide into Moore's role, catch some passes, do some dances and we'll be posting Kenny McCringleberry gifs for another 5 years.

I wasn't talking about you specifically, AJF.

But I mean, damn.
Some of the responses are acting like he was a first round bust who danced more than he contributed.
