I love Kyle for defending his QB. The fact that he got a penalty when the other guy who did the same thing first to Brooks got nothing was BS.

The Jets guy did get flagged for a facemask. It just didn't matter because dumbass Turley picked up two flags on the play.

Unpopular opinion what he did was right. He may have taken it a tad too far ,but you don't let a defender grab your QB by the face mask when he is on the ground and pull him back while someone else is on top of him. He had ever right to go after that motherfricker and protect his QB.

Only Saints fans would quabble over the difference between a 7-9 and 8-8 season. Not to mention that we got smacked the frick up the last few games of that season. Team was going nowhere fast - at the end of the day it’s an interesting but irrelevant moment to look back on.

him pulling the defenders helmet off and throwing it for them fricking with our QB -

Should've waited a few more seconds..Brooks may have been hurt and Benched which could've opened doors of success

I've been to one Saints home game and it was the one where Turley threw his helmet.

I met KT twice with his band. That dude was built different. The first time I met him was in N.O during Mardi Gras and I believe he was with our TE at the time playing lead
Guitar. They weren’t that good but was still cool guys.

Came across this article from when he first signed with the Rams:

LINK /

Some of it was him being an arse, but a lot of it seems pretty concurrent with where the Saints were before the Payton/Brees era.

remember listening to him on WWL one night, while he was still on the team, just ripping in to the Saints organization. He was callng Loomis a joke of a GM, saying that he was "nothing but a bean counter". It was obvious that he was trying to burn his bridges so they would ship him elsewhere, which they promptly did.

You're mad at him for speaking the truth? That's always been the case with Loomis. He's a financial/contractual wizard but not someone who can readily identify the talent. That's the whole reason why Ireland has a spot with the Saints.

He was right about the team at the time and the city was trash and even worse today.
