He said this during CST Saints Tonight interview, when asked about the pick. Sounds to me like the defense had no confidence in the offense finishing the game.

Can you blame him? The D has had to finish out 3 of our 4 close games including this one. They knew the offense was especially having a bad day today.. No surprise here.
