McShay said Chris Wells has the most potential to be the biggest bust.

Says he has toughness issues

I'm gonna go with Josh Freeman being the biggest bust.

I'm gonna go with Stafford if he goes to Detroit, cause he'll be in Detroit. Saw an article that used some sort of formula and out of all the first round qbs this decade and Stafford was pretty low, but there are a few anomalies

I dont want to take a RB + I think Wells is much more the type of back we need but I just cant help but agree with you. I mean, Wells played in the Big 2, excuse me, the BIG SLOW and Knowshan played in the SEC. To me it is as easy as that when it comes to the position of RB.

still a huge fan of somehow trading down. i know it's hard finding a partner but i just wish we had more draft picks.. plus i believe a good rb as well as lb can be found in the middle rounds.

He also said that Wells was the best player on the board when NO selected based on his mock and that if he were the Saints, there would be no doubt about picking Jenkins. He said the dude is a ballhawk and is exactly what we need.

Wells is the type of player we need, just not necessarily the player we need.

IMHO

K. Moreno > D. Brown =/> R. Jennings > C. Wells

I'd love to get Brown or Jennings who would fit us very well. Moreno just doesn't bring a lot more to the table than we already have. Besides, his 40 times have really scared me.

Frist off its Donald Brown and I think he is the most talented back in the draft, but not the type of back the Saints need. I would like to see the Saints Get Jennings by possible trading up to get into the 3rd round.

McShay also said D MacFadden was slow before the combine. He also said Al Woods is a top 5 NFL draft pick next year when he has yet to break our starting lineup.

Bottom line is we have some serious issues in this organization if they pick an offensive player. Who is calling the shots? They need to wake up and take Jenkins.

I'd love for the Saints to get Donald Brown. We could move Bush to flanker half the time.

I'd love this.

Moreno can actually run inside - something none of our RBs can do very well. Wells' official 40 was a whole 0.02 faster than Moreno. 40 times, especially for a RB, are rather pointless at the NFL level, especially the difference between a 4.58 and a 4.6 time.

Trust me they will if he is there at 14.
But there is a chance he won't be.
If he isn't I think we trade back if the opportunity presents itself.
