He did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to go for that int. He literally watch Jones pick it off. Flenner could have caught or at least knocked it away. I don't know why this guy is even on the damn team

The direct reason for almost 3 losses instead of 1.

The hell are you talking about? He was going backwards, was double covered, and Jones made a great play. That is all on Drew. Horrible decision.

He's having a terrible year this year despite the success of the Saints. But that play is absolutely NOT on him. Brees threw it to him fading backwards and actually put some air under it... Debo made a full extension INT that was pretty amazing. Gotta give credit where it's due, and Debo was a high-speed wrecking ball last night.
I blame SP for throwing to our worst option on a play designed to attack their best defender of the night in a situation that called for the run to protect against turnover and run the clock. It was an attempt at trickery, when you don't NEED the TD on that play. You need the ball and at least 3 points when the drive ends. 2 runs or a run and a pass to a better option on 3rd down was absolutely the only smart thing to do.

Hill is no fricking way to be blamed for that pick!!!
Blame 1 is to Payton for calling that play while he should have run Ingram up the middle on that 2nd down making Atlanta use its last time out.
Blame 2 is to Drew for throwing a low pass to a receiver that was blanketed. Ball should have been 2 feet higher over Debo' head so only Hill could make a play.
No blame whatsoever should be placed on Hill. He did all he could with his momentum carrying him away from the underthrown pass.

fricking terrible decision by Brees, plain and simple. You can not throw a pick right there! Not to even talk about that Ingram was wide arse open!

Can't rationalize in any situation ever why you would want to throw it to Hill in the endzone. Dude is not a good player.

And I still don't think Hill would be able to come down with it. (Hindsight) based on the coverage and how high debo went up the only ones that could have made a play would have been Thomas or Cooper; but like you said the ball would need to be 2 feet higher.
