This has to have been the most predictable outcome. I was going to say how shocked I was that this happened, but I'm not. At all.

I'm willing to bet good money that the only reason said charges were dropped is because he re-signed with the Saints. The charges would have remained if he would have decide to intimately sign with another team.

Thoughts?

haha, gotta wonder if he didn't re-sign with the Saints if the parish would've continued with the charges.

How much y'all wanna bet that if he didn't resign with the saints that the charges would have remained? Cause I'd bet a lot.

I'm hearing that if he had not re-signed with the Saints then he would have been charged.

This would make an interesting legal case study. One could argue, that based on regional biases, had the defendant chosen to work elsewhere the charges would have remained in tact.
