Because horn was flashy, i'm not supposed to like him and appreciate what he's done with the saints just like you do with Deuce as a saint?
Flashy? That's the understatement of the century. He's a selfish, distracting prick. If he gave a ride to some lady after Katrina, it's because she had a gun and he didn't.

Joe Horn... not selfish... gave everything to the team. Had to put up with aaron brooks for fricks sake. Might be distracting but he was as good as it got in the community for New Orleans.

Im not...im discrediting you for saying the only reason Deuce retired is because noone wanted him. i never mentioned Joe Horn anywhere...i couldn't give a rats arse if he's upset or not.

But that is the sole reason for that comment. Joe Horn would have retired a saint too if nobody signed him when he was cut.

He gave a ride to a woman that he knew. Had he NOT given her a ride, he'd have had to answer to his momma and we ALL know what happens then.
He helped her out because he had to. Period.
He was a productive football player while he was in NOLA. I don't see anything about a JH Foundation. I can't find articles about his donations to help rebuild. I can't find anything about charity work. I do find articles about being a showoff and a locker room distraction. I know about (through people who are connected to the team) tantrums he threw because he wasn't getting the ball. I know he was a selfish a-hole BEFORE he went to the Falcons.
And ALL the players had to deal with Aaron Brooks. I don't see ALL OF THEM calling him out and being pricks about the coaching and QB play.
On the other hand, everything I just wrote about Joe Horn is the exact and complete OPPOSITE for Deuce. The man was a Saint, on and off the field. Period, end of story.

Look, many people are pissed at Horn for either playing for the Falcunts or some of the things he said. While Joe Horn was a Saint, he was one of the few guys during that time who left everything on the field for the team including playing hurt.
PFT is full of shite with this article and only trying to drum up interest. Someone suggested that if you want to find out what Horn was saying, then read only Horn's direct quotes. After that read the article without Horn's quotes. PFT is pulling this right out of their arse. Horn mouthed off alot whenever the mic was put in his face but Horn was 100% Saints while he was here. frickin A. Chad got butt hurt because there is an OBVIOUS, grand canyon-esque difference between what Deuce means to this team and what Joe means/meant. Joe and Deuce were part of the same team, same circumstances, coaches etc. If Deuce did it with class, Joe could have too.
