After thinking about it, if you believe this move makes our defense dominant, then Im fine going for it. Our defense would be loaded if we made this move.

Absolutely give them next year’s first. We’re still going all in for this year and next, and a rookie isn’t going to make a bigger impact than Ramsey in 2020.

Ramsey isn't going anywhere. They'll restructure his contract, which is what this is all about.

Based purely on talent, he is obviously worth what Jags are asking for. I have a couple problems with it. First of all, apparently Ramsey doesn’t like playing zone. That’s one of the issues that’s been annoying him. I’m not saying he is wrong, but have you all been watching our defense. We play a lot of zone, and it’s killing us.
That leads to the second problem, which is it appears Ramsey might be a locker room cancer. If he comes here, plays in our terrible zone defense, gets pissed, there is a real chance he starts getting in the ear of some teammates and turn them against Payton.
