Yeah it kinda was. They have like 2 decent receivers and really, Snead may have been a fluke last year anyway.

we were the number 1 passing offense in the league last year and our 5th leading receiver was just let go. how exactly does that scream WR need?

Except ya know when our offense would bog down in the middle of games. Teams realized none of receivers besides Cooks could get separation and double him and there went the big plays on offense. Thomas, Fleener and a healthy Spiller helps alleviate that problem

We signed Fairley for a reason. You want one of our biggest free agent signings 1st and 2nd round draft picks to be the same position? Brilliant.

you need to learn how to actually watch games and not just troll for stats that don't tell whole story about our problems last year with the receivers.

Unreal. WE could have landed two of the top 3 defense linemen in the draft and one miraculously is still there in the 2nd round for us and we pass on him. It's splitting hairs between talent wise between A'Shawn Robinson (missed by one pick), Rankins who I was glad to get, and Jaren Reed who we pass on. How does the perienial weakest defense in the league with the weakest front 7 in all of football pass on a stud like Reed? Good God, I am in disbelief right now.

Could have landed two of the top 15 players in this draft who happen to play at positions that we are weakest in the league at and we pass on it for a fricking WR.

It all starts up front with the d-line. It's the weakest unit of the weakest defense in the NFL. When a talent like that drops to you, you don't think twice about him. You can take WR's late in the draft. They are sketchy picks whether you take them early or take them late. Doesn't matter where you take the little guys.

We should have taken Reed. Seattle's defense just got richer!

We passed on a 2 down DT that can't rush the passer what are we gonna do!!! All to get a big WR who attacks the ball at its highest point and does everything else well? Sure fire bust. We should have just drafted DL in every round.

Reed should have been a no brainier pick; however, the Saints were drafting. How well did the 2014 draft go for the Saints?

of the non-Laquon WRs, Michael was always the one that we'd be fine with having in the 2nd Rd. The value is right, and it is a position of need. He's a fit.

Pharoh is too small, Lawler ran too slow, Hollywood doesn't fill the ball winner need.

I wanted Jarran because I think he's the best 1-technique in the draft, and like it or not ... both Nick and John will be looking for new contracts next season. Jarran has the chance to be better than John right away... and cheaper than him for the next 4 years. That said, breaking in two rookie members of any line at the same time could be brutal, and next years DT FA class looks pretty nice.

Not mad at Thomas in the 2nd, sad that Jarran isn't a member of this team.

still kills me that after watching A'Shawn Robinson stay on the board all that time get picked one pick before the Saints selection. Would have been off the hook to get the two best d-lineman in the draft, but the Saints dumbasses probably would have still passed on him for some sketchy half arse WR that we could have picked up anytime later in the draft (or some other crapshot WR).

Still Jaren Reed is just a hair behind A'Shawn and Shelvin talent wise and was a no brainer pick at that spot in the draft.
