I love the playcall and the balls on our coach, but god damn call that on first down, not 3rd and 1.

I agree. Play was setup, player has to make the freakin play. Not sure I would’ve called it on 3rd and short though.

That’s a 2nd and 1 play or with the lead, not a fricking 3rd and 1 at midfield down a score in the 4th quarter... just get the fricking first

Well no one would have expected something like on 3rd and 1, but having a non QB make that kind of pass rarely works. His second career pass ever. Sheesh

They were looking for a run on 3rd and 1. Completely reasonable time to run the play as it worked beautifully other than the pass being off.
