If they’re able to work far enough up to snatch him..... they’re going to build a juggernaut offense over there. Not thrilled about Brady leaving to coach for a division rival.

There's no way in hell that Carolina or any team is going to pay the price required to get Burrow from Cincinnati.

It's a fricking position of need for Cincy for Christ's sake.

Draft Pick Trade Value

1st Pick = 3000 points
Panthers pics (1-7) = 2,430 points

Carolina would have to send them Cam Newton, a all their picks. And likely a 1st or 2nd next year too.

Bengals don't trade in general. Unlikely they'd trade this because of the bump in interest Burrow would get them over trading back and taking Herbert or worse damaged goods Cam starting.

Yeah I don’t think cincy is dumb enough to trade and not sure a new staff and org in Carolina wants to make that type of move

It's going to go on forever the Joe threads lol.

He's from Ohio. A team from Ohio is picking first. That team sucks and is in Ohio.

Oh well.

The Bengals getting to pick Burrow is the equivalent of the Cavs getting to pick LeBron. Even they won’t screw that up.

Carolina doesn't have anything to give Cincy for what Burrow means to the excitement he will bring to their fanbase. Another team with the #1, sure. Not an Ohio team though.

All that number crunching doesn't take into account the stupidity of Mike Brown.

It would take an absurd amount of value for the Bengals to trade that pick. Probably Christian McCaffrey & high draft picks. The Bengals would probably want D.J. Moore as well.

I wouldn't worry about Burrow to the Panthers. Even if the Panthers did trade for him...Burrow would be joining a depleted roster.

He’s a terrible owner that overvalues his assets. He will want three years worth of draft picks, Cam Newton, CMC, Joe Brady, Shaq Thompson, a new car and a player to be named later.

Short term, yeah. How about 3-5 years from now when they have a complete roster and Burrow with NFL experience? If the Panties do trade up I'd worry.

Fair enough. It's still a huge risk though.

Yeah how many times have we heard that. I love the guy but it takes a very special player to come into the nfl and play well for a extended period of time at qb.

As an LSU fan I’m happy but I hope Carolina’s offense looks like complete dogshit next year

NFL is all about putting asses in seats for games, hometown hero will do that. Only way it doesn’t happen is if Joe comes out and says he doesn’t want to play for cincy. Don’t think a person of his character would do that though...
