Who’s the core and how is it better than what he has/had in Green Bay?
I haven't analyzed the Saints that recently, so I could be off on things. But, from what I recall, we offer:
1) a solid O Line, with no real holes and potentially a really good set of tackles if Penning emerges
2) WRs- Olave is young and good. Rasheed has potential to be a big-play guy. A couple solid, if not top-tier, guys behind them; with the potential of Mike Thomas returning, if he "is healthy" (meaning he wants to play again).
You put a GOOD Thomas on the field with Olave and Rasheed, and Rodgers has targets.
3) no reliable RB; Kamara is a weapon that we may not have. That is an issue.

Defense is solid and shouldn't be a weak link, same for special teams.
Division is weak as hell, 8 home games in a dome, as well as at ATL: guaranteed ideal passing conditions for an old QB. Certainly not a negative there.

Objectively, Rodgers could come in and do some damage. Would it be worth the cost, who knows?
