States with highest black population...
1. MS
2. LA
3. GA
5. AL

So basically this is where both teams' fans come from

When looking at a random sample (crowd at a game), percentages of the fan base is a better indication of who you will see than raw numbers. Just bc Texas has more total black population than Louisiana, only 12% of Texans are black vs 33% in Louisiana.

Are you only considering African Americans as being diverse? If you look at it by the percentage of white non-Hispanics then the Saints may be one of them but it is more likely the California teams, Texans, Cowboys, or maybe even the Commanders.

Black people like football

White people like football

It’s the one sport we both all like

You’re correct on opposing fan bases. That is one cool thing about going to a saints game. We mix cultures perfectly. We are all just glad to be there with no racial crap occurring.

Now do the demographics of the major cities where most NFL teams are located. I don’t think the statewide demographics mean much.

This… society has a long way to go but it would be great if everywhere felt like the Dome during a Saints game
