Is having a family tragedy a prerequisite to being drafted into the NFL?

It’s quite uncanny the number of dead fathers, siblings or just a general story of tragedy that many of these guys have.
Everyone has a terrible story.
Statistically speaking it has to be greater than the general population by a large margin.
If you started a drinking game every time Espn told one you would be passed out in 20 mins.

What pisses me off is they constantly show the Saints playoff losses over and over and over.
How many times have they shown the Patriots losing to the Titans this year??? Or the Ravens a 1 seed losing to the Titans over and over???
Why not show the Packers getting destroyed by the 49ers over and over???

They are trying to make a story for anyone. I saw Ceedee Lamb relocated from Opelousas to Texas because of hurricane Katrina. Quite a reach for something!
