Is Brees offseason work w Shough paying off?

If tweet fails to load, click here. Saw this, and combined with what Brees said he told Caleb Williams before week 1… that young QBs #1 thing is they have to find 3-4 extra completions a game and specifically always knowing where your check down options are.
Could be nothing, but thought it was interesting

It is possible, appears Shough was a little too reliant on the check downs. But as they pointed out during the game, Balt kept mixing up the personal/post snap looks. Between that and the porous oline, I guess checking down often made sense

Fans seem to consistently dislike checkdowns, but they are the right play in many cases
