Blocked punt for a TD other way
Missed FG
Fumbled ball by butterfingers on a dime
Entire skill position group WR and RB PS guys, TE room not that great either
A fricked up OL

And your playing Atlanta who has talent. A decent amount of it.

Not including bad calls you had the win in the bag.

Shough it. Guy is a gamer, he is tough, composed in the pocket. Give him some weapons and protection and see what he can do. He has some stud characteristics.

Didn't say that

Don't put words in my mouth or intention

I've seen what I seen and have commented on it previously.

Just Atlanta last week with their "Statement Win" and their talent level IMO.

This was the best showcase for Shough especially based on differential of talent.

Shough had scrubs everywhere and we should have beat the best team in division on paper and the only team not imploding.

You think Atlanta is the best team in the division even though they were eliminated weeks ago? Just bc they won a few recently, which so have we, doesnt make them better than any other team over a 17 game season.

Also a believer dude is balling out with very little help.

Got random practice squad and first year dudes catching the ball. If we can get some talent along side olave and get him and kamara healthy he could be very legit next season

I do.

Bijan amazing. NFL Spectacle.
Pitts...bust or not still a freak.
Drake a top 20 WR
How many rookies they have this year alone performing well
Go down their roster. ATL has talent.

really bad?
In the 2025 NFL preseason with the New Orleans Saints, Tyler Shough posted solid numbers, completing around 66.7% of his passes for about 230-330 yards, throwing for 1 touchdown and 1 interception, and adding a rushing touchdown, demonstrating strong competition against Spencer Rattler for the starting QB role, with key stats including 24/34 (69%) completions, 231 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, and 3 rushing yards in one game, and overall a strong completion rate and decision-making despite some sacks.

People are nuts if they thought he looked bad in preseason. Yes at times he looked like a rookie, but he was making BIG TIME throws even back in preseason. You could see he had the reading ability and the arm strength and touch to get the ball anywhere on the field from jump.

I get he may have needed more time to learn the playbook, but he always looked miles ahead of Rattler as a player on the field and imo it was still stupid not to start him immediately, even if it came with growing pains. Rattler never gave us the best chance to win.

He looked like crap in preseason. He wasn't ready. He rushed, he pressed, etc. Anyone saying they knew since preseason is a liarer or bad in personal taste

My take he looked green. He had deer in headlights at times. You could see him struggling.

If you want to convince yourself he was always great go ahead. you sucked him off since day one...go ahead. Suck him dry. Post a stanp to prove it. Im not fact checking every jackass on TD.

Edit:not an attack at you bonethug

I dont disagree with you entirely We do disagree in that Tyler got a lot better over the course of the season. And wasn't ready and needed time to chill. He said as much in his own words. Running scout or whatever

You have a post showing your undying faith in him back during preseason?

Or you just pulling stats ignoring eye tests and trying to prove something now that enough data supports your theory with fan support

If you dont have a receipt I dont want to hear from your week 17 arse

I didnt say anything that should have conjured up this much sissy brass nonsense. However if your right prove it. I always give credit where it is due.

I’ll have to look but my opinion has never changed. I was like who the frick is TS when we drafted him and looked at all the film and opinions of him and realized we got lucky.

Same! I said it another post, he reminds me of a young Josh Allen. He reads the field well, climbs the pocket to create space, will run when the opportunity is there, and is throwing some nice balls to people in stride.

Like most are saying, surround him with some upgrades (via the draft and/ro FA) to our OL and skilled position players, and this team can be VERY competitive in 2026 & beyond.

I don't disagree about the deer in headlights thing and have said he looked like a rookie at times, but what you did see, and what I said in those preseason posts (and even in threads after the draft) was you could see his ability to read the field quickly and the arm talent to make the plays anywhere on the field.

All he needed was time to learn the system and the game to slow down for him, which he would have gotten from live play as well (each preseason game you could see improvement, as well as each regular season game, so starting from jump would not have hurt him). He's not a guy that would have given up from a few bad plays, and you could tell that from back in college to even during preseason. He makes a mistake, even a bad one, and comes back and makes amazing plays.
