Don’t we get a second first round pick?

I believe it is an NFL rule. Can anyone tell me if I am remembering correctly?

I think if teams don't win a single game, then they shouldn't be allowed the first pick. There should be some punishment for putting such a shite product on the field and costing the league money. Maybe cap it at the 3rd overall pick.

If we don’t win a game then Moore likely gets canned. No coach can survive going 0-17.

Hugh Jackson survived going 1-31.

That would be a huge bonus for whichever team ended up with that pick after trading the Saints a case of Schlitz for it.

2017 Browns - 0-16 and coach fired

2008 Lions - 0–16 and coach fired

Moore goes 0-17 then it’ll be a complete overhaul and hopefully Loomis’ retirement as well.

Ummmmm, no, Moore will not be fired.

The Saints have ZERO leverage in any coaching search and they're not firing a dude after 1 year with this roster. No coach worth a shite on earth would want to come here.

He’d absolutely be fired. A coach isn’t going winless and keeping his job. It would prove Moore can’t coach at all if he goes winless with our schedule, which isn’t that hard.

A draw for a new coach would be for him to handpick his QB in the draft.

False. Hue Jackson was not fired after the 2017 season. He coached the first 8 games in 2018 going 2-5-1 until our old pal Gregggggggg Williams became interim coach and almost got them to .500 (7-8-1)

Appears I read it wrong. Good catch.

Regardless, that would be more of a reason to fire someone who goes winless. It isn’t getting better.
