If the o-line shows any improvement we're looking at an elite team.

The defense is lights out, and even with pressure and getting sacked 4 times Carr still threw over 300 yards.

And our top 3 in receptions today were our top 3 wr on the depth chart, exactly how it should be.

The OL may not be as bad as we think. They looked terrible, but playing a very good DL can make a so so OL look terrible sometimes.

Penning was getting schooled. I know he has what it takes to be a good tackle, but he has to settle down and get use to the speed of the game.

I agree in regards to every one on oline but Penning. Arden Key is not TJ Watt or Myles Garrett. Penning needs a huge bounce back game and panthers have Burns who is much better than Key.

He hasn't gotten the snaps he needs due to injury and the little he played during preseason.

We grinded out a win, and Penning will have film on the mistakes he made. It'll be on him and the coaching to get that fixed.

How do you know this? His foot speed is abysmal. Looks more like a guard to me.

I'm not going to pretend I know anything about his foot speed, but that in and of itself could be due to his lack of experience. The more snaps he gets the more the game slows down.

To be fair thats not true for everyone. For some it never slows down. We cant all assume hes the next Armstead. I hope he gets it but his fundamentals, foot speed- honestly its all worse than when Armstead came in the league. Plus hes a first rounder- expectation that through a year as a professional he should have some of this stuff down.
