They would booth review all potential targeting calls like college. They should not eject players, but make the call from the booth.

I’ve never seen a rule enforced less than the helmet to helmet hits.

The college game has this part right, but the NFL has lawsuits to consider, if they go all I too quick they basically admit they knew of the dangers and didn't care. If the slowly progress I the right direction they can claim to be proactive.

Bottom line they don't really care, just billionaires using hired hands for their amusement until they can not longer amuse them when they are then replaced by the next volunteer.

Josh Hill got one such targeting no call. Got a potentially life changing concussion, but the NFL doesn't care.

The nfl doesn’t give a shite about player safety!!!

They were losing fans big time bc of long term brain injuries, they went into panic mode, bc money was being lost. Parents were stoping their kids from playing little league.

The NFL movement for player safety was all BS

The intent is right. The execution is severely flawed. College needs to have levels of targeting with only severe or intentional getting the ejection. There are plenty of plays where a player is trying to pull up or are aiming for the chest when the offensive player’s helmet drops.
