If Kellen Moore is the guy (which is expected) we should pair him with Justin Fields

Feel like Fields will be cheap + he could be similar to Jalen Hurts to run a similar offense here.

I like this idea and beggers can't be choosers so let's go!

No thanks. Fields has proven to be hot garbage in the NFL. He's not Jalen Hurts.

Are you comparing them because they're both black QBs? Kind of like when people say all the white players have motors that never stop?

I didn’t say he’s our answer but he proved to be decent with the Steelers this year. Plus if you give him a prove it deal similar to what the Bucs did with Baker it is really a low risk high reward signing. Also my comparison is both are scramble first type QBs.

Not huge on Fields but I believe he could really develop under Moore. Not a bad idea at all.

I forgot to mention in the original post him and Olave did play together at Ohio state so that is another bonus.

As much as we have other needs, I cant help but want Justin Fields and Jeanty.

But there are a lot of good RB's we could take later on.

The Saints will have no money. If Fields is cheap, he will give you certainly more upside than nearly any other qb in that range and maybe more than some qbs a little more expensive.

He got benched for Russell Wilson. How is that decent this year?

I may be wrong but seems like Fields is a dome QB. Or at least needs a chance (on the cheap) with a done team.

That said the Falcons did the diligence and passed in favor of Cousins.

Russell Wilson was always to be the starter.

He didn’t play bad
He had 1,106 yards
5 passing TD
1 interception.
93.3 rating

62 carries
289 rushing yards
4.7 per carry
5 rushing TDs

I'd love to have Fields but I'll pass on a 1st rd RB. Kamara is a top 5 back and we can take a good back in the middle rounds. Sampson, Sanders, and Skattebo would all be great.

I agree 100 percent there's a lot more pressing needs and really good RB's we could get in the middle rounds.

That's just a dream scenario if we had the luxury to pick a skill position early

You have a rattler in house, he has some Dak tendencies, let Moore or MM try and mold him. Don’t spend any more resources on another QB

Wow I remember giving credit to the Steelers for getting the Wilson/Fields duo. Got completely shite on for it. I was told Carr was head and shoulders better than them. Funny how this board works.

Also got shite on for wanting to draft milroe. Not sure why we can build an offense around fields but not milroe.

Justin Fields literally got benched because he sucked this season. Wilson was awful too, did you even watch their games especially late in the year.
