Seems like a deep class on the d line when I look it up..

Would he be a 1st round pick still?

I don’t follow college as much nowadays other than bowls, draft, a few big games. With the whole project and small school narrative im thinking 3rd round..

Davenport played through an injury and was rated the best edge rusher of that class. He is also great against the run. I think he will end up being a top 5 player of last years class. So realistically if that plays out the right place would be top 5. Let’s see what kind of step he takes next year because we have seen rookies show promise then move backwards. (Marcus Williams)

Davenport would still be a 1st rounder. Everyone knew he was a raw athlete but the potential was massive. Watching him this past year, you saw the flashes of greatness. I honestly expect him to take a massive leap forward this year, and when all is said and done he'll be one of the top 5 players from last years draft

That's a steal compared to the 52 1st's we gave up for him.
