I did not disagree with this. I am simply pointing out that people put way too much stock in "wasted" picks on QBs without pointing out that the majority of draft picks do not work out. People complained about Garrett Grayson and Ian Book for like 7+ years after those picks were made despite us missing on tons of other guys in the same time frame.

It's the same here. Yeah it stings to maybe "waste" a 2nd round pick but we've wasted tons of picks. This one isn't a way bigger deal or a "bigger waste" just because it's a QB

Helps if your all-star RB can manage more than 2.3 yards per carry.

The coach was a 26 year old rookie himself so he sees nothing wrong with that unfortunately
